Church Council
The Church Council has general oversight of worship life and activities of the congregation, business and fiscal responsibility, with everything done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith, the Nebraska Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Church Council also engages in long-range planning, setting objectives and promoting involvement in an environment of peace and goodwill. Endowment Board The Endowment Board is made up of five elected board members each serving five-year terms. The role of the Board is to manage the RELC Endowment Fund in accordance to grantors’ wishes and congregation policies, while maintaining loyalty and devotion to the Lord. The Board distributes portions of the Endowment Fund in the form of grants given to young adults for college tuition, to children for camp, Vacation Bible School and provides financial help to youth attending national ELCA and Nebraska Synod mission programs. The Endowment Board’s role includes encouraging member donations, so the fund can continue to provide educational gifts to children and young adults in need.
