Tyler Nicole Johnson
Tyler Johnson accepted the position of Youth and Program Director and began her duties July 5, 2018. She is responsible for developing programming, fellowship, and service opportunities for Resurrection Lutheran Church (RELC); leading the youth teams (Fish – Underground); and coordinating volunteer activities.
Tyler Johnson grew up in a suburb just outside the Twin Cities and is the oldest of five children. She came to Nebraska to attend Midland University where she majored in Youth & Family Ministry. Tyler met her husband, Nicholas, through his sister (with whom she was in a sorority) and they married in 2015. Tyler also worked at Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries (Camp Carol Joy Holling) as a wrangler for 2 years during college.
After graduation, Tyler and Nick lived in Ashland until moving to Lincoln for her previous church position. She is excited to have just moved back to the area at the edge of Omaha! Her favorite things (outside of work) include playing games with her husband (video games, card games, board games, and tabletop games) as well as spending time with her amazing mutt of a dog named Flynn and hairless cat named Mew. She also likes kayaking, tiny houses and sculpting/art.
