Our annual Vacation Bible School at Resurrection Lutheran this year was held on Sunday, June 17 through Thursday, June 21, 2018. The 5-day summer evening program is for children age 3 to youth heading into 6th grade in the Fall. Meals for the entire family are served each night from 5:15-6:00 p.m. with a free-will offering to cover the cost of food. School starts at 6:00pm, right after the meal. The nursery is open, too!
Theme/Costs: This year’s theme was “SHIPWRECKED — Rescued by Jesus”. Good news for families: the fee was the same as last year — $5 per child with a $15 maximum per family! If adult family members volunteer, they receive one no-cost tuition per volunteer – hooray!
VBS Dinner Prior: Dinner for the entire family is served each VBS night from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m., with a free-will offering. Bring the whole family; everyone is welcome!
Directors: The Directors for this year were Tiffany Honeyman and Shelli Wolverton. With their children, they have both participated in volunteer positions and did a fantastic job heading up VBS this year!
How can I help? Volunteers are always needed; both at the learning stations and in the kitchen, helping to prepare the meals. You may register to volunteer at our convenient SignUp Genius link! Or, you may choose to donate food or classroom items to help defray costs.
Registration: You can register your children several ways; with Online Registration (below), by printing out a Paper Registration Form (below) or by picking up a form at church. Links are posted below. Paper forms along with payment may be emailed or mailed to the church office. Or you may choose to pay online using RELC’s Vanco Payment link. As in the past, we had CD’s with all the music the children learned AND there were t-shirts with the Shipwrecked logo and Resurrection’s name on them available, as well. You can order them and pay at the same time you register your children!
