Vacation Bible School

Our annual Vacation Bible School at Resurrection Lutheran for this year was held on Sunday, June 23rd through Thursday, June 27th, 2019. The 5-day summer evening program was for children age 3 to youth heading into 6th grade in the Fall. Little Paws Preschool was directed by Shelli Wolverton, and 1st to 5th-grade programming was directed by Tyler Johnson. Meals for the entire family were served each night from 5:30-6:00 p.m. with a free-will offering to cover the cost of food. Vacation Bible School started at 6:00 pm, right after the meal!

Theme/Costs: This past year’s theme was “ROAR! – Life is wild, God is good!”.  We’d like to extend thanks to all of the volunteers that made VBS possible! We had a ROARing good time learning about African Culture, God, and each other!Image result for vbs 2019 group

To continue with the excitement from ROAR let us look toward next year! Our theme for the 2020 Vacation Bible School is…. *drum roll please* ROCKY RAILWAY! We’ll have an amazing time exploring the rocky mountains and learning about how Jesus’ power can pull us through! Stay tuned for announcements on dates, times, and other special news regarding this upcoming year’s vacation bible school! If you’re interested in volunteering in 2020 or have questions, contact our Youth and Program Director, Tyler Johnson at tyler.johnson@relchurch.net.

Registrations for Rocky Railway will go live in 2020!
