The Outreach Team is on a mission to share God’s Word, Show God’s Love and Serve God by introducing Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church to the community. The Outreach Team welcomes visitors and new members to our congregation and provides the congregation with opportunities to grow in faith together.

The Outreach Team’s activities include:

• Advertising in the local newspapers
• Gretna Days parade float and/or booth
• Church Service in the Park and Picnic (held in July at Peterson Park)
• Bread or homemade baked goods to new visitors
• New Member Classes
• New Member Reception
• Trunk or Treat
• Coffee House
• Chili Cook-off
• Picture Board
• Postcard to all new residents inviting them to join us for worship
