Resurrection is planning several services to observe Holy Week. We’ll begin the week with remembering the triumphant entrance of Jesus as he came into Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of the Passover. As he entered the gates riding on a donkey, throngs of people made way for him, waved branches of palms and shouted, “HOSANNA! HOSANNA! Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord! BLESSED BE THE KING! HOSANNA!”
On Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, we will have services at 7:00pm, each different from the other, as we remember the passion of Christ and his suffering and dying on the cross; all that we might be saved.
On Saturday, April 20, we will have an Easter Vigil at 5:30pm, in the Sanctuary. This will also be the start of a regular Saturday evening blended service for our congregation.
