We believe that we learn the faith best by looking over the shoulder of an adult role model. Our 6th graders select a mentor. Together, the pair walks through the Gospel of Luke throughout the school year and makes a cross to share with someone special.
Seventh graders meet Wednesday’s during the school year to survey both the Old & New Testaments.
The older teens meet for 10 retreats with the theme “What does it mean to be the Church,” tapping into Martin Luther’s small Catechism. Teens experience working at a food pantry, visit a funeral home, explore how the Commandments relate to real life while deepening their spiritual life. They hear from experts on topics like “how to be safe on the internet.” Eighth graders are confirmed in May.
