The Church Council has general oversight of worship life and activities of the congregation, business and fiscal responsibility, with everything done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith, the Nebraska Synod and ELCA, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The Church Council also engages in long-range planning, setting objectives and promoting involvement in an environment of peace and goodwill.
“I think it’s a worthwhile and a fulfilling experience to be a part of a faith community like this. We have such a great group of members working together to accomplish a certain goal,” said Kris Wagner, a former member.
Council Members for the year 2018 are Jeremy Reineke, President; Sue Lobsiger, Vice President; Matt Flynn, Secretary; Rich Armstrong, Treasurer; Ryan Bergsten; DeeAnn Hartman; Karen Hitz; Jerry Layher; Melanie Van Blarcom and Pastor James Sells.
